Sikkim Bermiok Tea Estate Second Flush

Sikkim BERMIOK (Organic) FTGFOP1 Second Flush

Located at the foot of the Himalayas in the northeastern part of India, Sikkim is a tea-producing region located north of Darjeeling, overlooking Kanchenjunga (8,586m), the third highest peak in the world.

Darjeeling tea plants are cultivated in the highlands of 1000m to 2000m near the Darjeeling region, so it has a flavor similar to Darjeeling, but Sikkim's unique terroir creates a gentle floral scent and mellow taste.

Sikkim tea has been recognized worldwide as almost the only producer of Sikkim tea until now, the state-owned TEMI Tea Estate established in 1969, but in 2002 the reincarnation of the Tibetan Buddhism Buddha The Densapa family known as (Rinpoche) has created BERMIOK Tea Estate, a small private 100% organic tea estate. As a boutique tea garden, Bermiok's black tea, which produces a limited amount of Sikkim black tea, has started to attract attention from the world market in recent years.

At Bermiok Tea Garden, all organically grown tea leaves are cultivated with unconditional love for the environment and the region, while preserving the beautiful natural environment, based on Buddhist teachings. At Bermiok Tea Garden, more than 90% of the staff are female, and the tea is made with meticulous care.

Enjoy the rich, sweet aroma and woody, smooth taste of seasonal Sikkim black tea, which is passionately cultivated by up-and-coming producers in Sikkim's tea plantations.
